The room, while compact, was well laid out, featuring a shower and sink - ideal for solitary travelers like myself. The vintage atmosphere, reminiscent of a 1990s point-and-click adventure game, gave it a unique charm. The location in Lindenthal is a strong asset, presenting a less touristy vibe compared to the Dom area, yet still conveniently connected to the city center. The hotel further provides essential amenities like heating and soundproofed rooms to ensure comfort after long explorations. The onsite restaurant delivered satisfactory meals, adding to the overall experience. While luxury might not be the defining characteristic, Haus Schwan successfully merges value with encounters that foster a warm, friendly environment, making it a wise choice for budget-conscious travelers.
